Department of History of Art
Matthew Lloyd Roberts is a PhD student and member of the Ax:son Johnson Centre for the Study of Classical Architecture. His work is concerned with the cultural reception of architecture in late seventeenth- and early eighteenth-century Britain.
He earned a first-class BA in Ancient and Modern History from Keble College, Oxford (2018). He received a distinction in his MA in Architectural History at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL (2019). He also produces the architecture podcast About Buildings + Cities and hosts Architectural History, the podcast of the SAHGB.
