The Centre for Visual Culture supports object-led research into visual culture in its global contexts. It fosters collaborative research and teaching across the University and its collections, including its founding partner institutions: the Department of History of Art, the Fitzwilliam Museum, Kettle’s Yard, and the Hamilton Kerr Institute.
CVC is led by the Directorial Quad of Dr Donal Cooper (History of Art, CVC Chair 21/22), Professor Carrie Vout (Classics, CVC Chair 22/23), Dr Neal Spencer (Fitzwilliam), and Dr Amy Tobin (Kettle’s Yard).
