‘Global Connections: Arts from the Islamic World at the Fitz’, brings together a group of experts for a collaborative investigation on the Museum’s collection of 12th- and 13th-century Iranian ceramics. Dr Carmen Ting (Department of Archaeology), Flavia Ravaioli (Fitzwilliam Museum) and Dr Deniz Turker (Rutgers University) will be presenting on the Adès family collection of glazed ceramic objects found in Gorgan. They will be joined by several international speakers.
