The Bill Brown Creative Workshops (BBCW) is a new platform for creative thinking and interdisciplinary solution-building at Churchill College.
The BBCW provides multi-purpose workshops where students, as well as Fellows and staff, can explore, design, test, scale, and build, and realise their ideas. The spaces are equipped with extensive resources and cutting-edge technologies, which not only enhance the educational experience but also ensure that students are equipped to translate their creative ideas into innovative solutions.
Alongside the workshops is a Project Space to host exhibitions, presentations, and talks .To mark the launch of the BBCW there is an exhibition by the renowned sculptor David Nash RA. Nash's Wooden Boulder, a work that has taken over 35 years, will be the focus of the opening exhibition. The show explores interdisciplinary themes of sustainability, geography, geometry and landscape, reflecting Nash’s and the College’s longstanding commitment to environmental concerns.
Open to all, these events serve as catalysts and showcases for a continuous and dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives.
