In 2019 Alexander was awarded a grant from St John's College Annual Fund to conduct research and oversee the construction of a 1:100 scale model illustrating the initial architectural developments of the College that occured in the decades following its foundation (primarily circa 1516 to 1533). This model was completed in Spring 2021 and is now on display at the College Library.
