The University’s Admissions Office provides detailed information about all undergraduate courses and the admissions process. You should also pay careful attention to individual college websites and prospectuses. If possible, it is extremely useful to attend a college or university open day. The next university open days, which will offer you the opportunity to meet members of staff and current students and to visit the department, as well as an introduction to some of Cambridge’s unique resources, will be on 2 and 3 July 2020.
The Department also offers a number of History of Art masterclasses and taster days for Year 12 students throughout the year. More information on these can be found in the outreach section of our website.
If you have the opportunity, do visit significant buildings or art galleries and exhibitions that will help you think more about whether you might like to study the History of Art at degree level. These don’t need to be well-known examples in major cities, but can be local to where you live. You will also find it useful to explore some of the books listed here.
If you have any questions about studying History of Art at Cambridge, please email outreach@aha.cam.ac.uk or call 01223 332950 – we’d be delighted to hear from you.
