Her fellowship focuses on Spanish painting spanning from the fifteenth to the twentieth century. She is currently helping prepare an exhibition on Spanish artist Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida (1863-1923), famous for his impressionistic beach scenes, which will open in March 2019. She is also writing her doctoral thesis on Spanish artist Francisco de Zurbarán and his reception in Latin America under the supervision of Professor Jean Michel Massing.
