The Department would like to congratulate Part I student, Alessandro Rubin, who has been awarded one of two Cambridge places on Yale University’s summer course

The course in entitled “The Sustainable Preservation of Cultural Heritage: An Introduction to a Global Challenge of Our Time.” This course offers an interdisciplinary approach to understanding complex factors that challenge the preservation of cultural heritage. Guest speakers with relevant expertise will be invited to participate in many of the class sessions. In addition, the course will draw on the collections of the Yale University Museums for discussion and as the basis of student assignments. The Department is pleased to have one of its students participating in this summer placement initiative which is part of the International Alliance of Research Universities (IARU).
