Teaching Associate for the Department of the History of Art


Biography:

Dr. Isard specializes in the art and architecture of early modern Europe, with a focus on the relationship between theory and practice in the Italian Renaissance. She completed her PhD at Columbia University in 2014. Before coming to Cambridge, she lectured at Columbia University and New Jersey City University. She has held fellowships from Columbia University, the Delmas Foundation, Houghton Library, the Huntington Library and the Getty Research Institute.

As Teaching Associate for the Department of the History of Art (2016-2019), Dr. Isard convenes the Part I of the History of Art Tripos.
